Here's proof that Izzy goes to class!

On Saturday morning, we drove 1 1/2 hours to Point Reyes Station for a field trip puppy class. Pt Reyes is on the west coast of California, west of Novato, which is in Marin County, north of San Francisco. It's in the general region of Bodega Bay, where "The Birds" was filmed.

We are currently in "KPT" but we'll graduate to "Basic" class after May graduation since Izzy is now 6 months old. Here's Izzy's best "Let's Go!"

Pt. Reyes is a very little town with about three north/south streets and maybe 6 east/west streets. It's a haven for "bed and breakfasters," bicyclists, hikers, and fans of the wine country. Cowgirl Creamery is a big operation there that makes designer cheeses (they're great!). Below is a typical stretch of town leading to the "Green Barn," a local theater.

After Izzy got all excited and had a very "frisky" moment in the sand of the parking lot, we worked on "roll."

We met some very nice firemen and walked around big, noisy fire engines.

We took a stroll through this large barn like structure that has several different food type businesses - it smelled really good and we were getting close to lunch time.

A few friends noticed that Izzy is more two-dementional than three and they compared her to "Flat Stanley" since she has very narrow (slim? dainty? feminine?) hips.... I decided to up her food to two cups in the morning and 1 1/2 cups at night.

This was a very fun field trip to a cute town for a change from normal class. The afternoon outing was way more fun, though!

Many thanks to Jon's girlfriend, Lauren, for being the official photographer on the trip. She snapped this photo of Miss P on one of the side streets!
